People travel for different purposes to different countries but in order to check the number and type of people entering a country, the Visa was introduced.

This is the permit given official access into a territory different from your country. Different type of visas have differing type of processing time.

Processing times are provided to inform you about the time it takes the Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to process your applications.

This processing time does not include the period it took the Visa Application Centre where you applied from to send your complete package to the IRCC.

These durations are based on the average processing times calculated by the Canadian government through the Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

On average, the body says it takes about 37 days for your visa to be processed. Factors might be considered by the body when processing visas as two people applying for the same visa might have them processed in different durations.

Note carefully that visas are served on a 'first come first serve' basis as early application of visa isn't a bad decision. Below are the various processing time of Canadian visas for Nigerian immigrants:

Facts to note about the processing time of IRCC

 1. The visa processing time is calculated from the moment the IRCC receives the visa application from the VAC (Visa Application Centre) to the day the visa is approved.

2. The processing duration provided by the IRCC might vary depending on how many applications they receive at a particular period. Consequently, if your visa request falls into a time where there are so many applications, then the processing time might be longer.

3. Resources on the other hand might pose some barrier to the timely issuance of the visa. If you are unfortunate to be met with an inefficient staff or a lazy one, the be well prepared for a delayed visa. Non-human factors like faulty machines can be blamed for an untimely issuance of visa as well.
