We are going to use MTN Nigerian as one of the biggest Providers in Nigeria, so this guide is for those who wish to become MTN MOMO Agents. However, there are other providers that you can try if you are not comfortable with MTN.

About MoMo Agents

A MoMo agent, also known as a Mobile Money agent, is a person who has registered with YDFS, a subsidiary of MTN, and has a permanent shop address in your neighborhood or community. They are authorized to provide you with mobile money services.

An agent from MoMo can help you with a variety of financial transactions, including making deposits and transfers, purchasing airtime and data, and paying bills. You won't have to deal with the hassle of going to a bank anymore thanks to the POS system that the MoMo agent has.
