Tecno mobile has recently announced their new flagship on the phantom series if you can recall that the last phantom series was released in 2019 (phantom 9). Most people thought that Tecno has discontinued the phantom series production but they are wrong because Tecno has just released what seems to be the best smartphone ever released from them.
In today's post, I'm going to tell you everything you need to know about Tecno phantom X, how it looks, the specifications and the price. Interestingly, you can as well pre-order the new Tecno phantom X to be eligible to receive a gift from Tecno mobile.
You can actually preorder the new Tecno Phantom X right now however Tecno has not published an official specification about the new Phone but I did my little research and I will tell you a few things I found out about the new smartphone
The look and design of the phantom X is no longer a secret or a leak, it has been made official and looking at the image above you will see how unique and beautiful the new phantom looks. Presently phantom X is the best smartphone that Tecno mobile has ever released, the design and specification are just awesome.
Tecno Phantom X price in Nigeria
Before we proceed with the specification, let me quickly explain more about the price of Tecno Phantom X in Nigeria the price of the new smartphone will actually shock you because it’s no longer about affordability it’s all about more Beauty, more features, more power and obviously more expensive.
People always see Tecno mobile phones as ordinary cheap smartphone simply because its from Tecno. Maybe it’s time to start thinking differently because Tecno Phantom X doesn’t belong to the list of that ordinary Tecno phones but an extraordinary smartphone from one of the African biggest brand Tecno.
When you look at the new Tecno phantom X you will see the quality and beauty followed by the irresistible features and functionalities. Well, I am still surprised about the price because it’s not within the reach of an average Nigerian. The current price is
N228,000 naira equivalent to
$550 US Dollars.

The phone looks superior with outstanding design when compared to other Tecno phones but what about the price, do you think the phone worth the price?
Let’s find out by checking the full specifications of the phone or maybe some expected features since the full specifications have not been published by Tecno.
Tecno Phantom X Specifications
While Tecno has not published the full specification of their new flagship Phantom X, I did some research and have found some interesting specs for the new smartphone. However, there other leaked specifications all over the internet, some will be wrong while some will be correct. Below are my findings as regards Tecno phantom X specifications.
The Tecno Phantom X boasts a 6.7-inch AMOLED FHD+ curved edge display with a 90Hz refresh rate, according to leaked specifications. It has an Helio G95 processor, 8 GB of RAM, and a 4,700mAh battery with 33W rapid charging.
The front-facing camera on the Phantom X is a 48-megapixel + 8-megapixel dual camera. It boasts a quad-camera configuration with a 50-megapixel main camera, a 13-megapixel secondary lens, an 8-megapixel camera, and an undisclosed lens on the back panel.
It will come preinstalled with HiOS, an Android 11-based operating system. In April, the FCC certified this handset (model number AC8). Colours like Van Gogh Sky Blue and Monet's Summer Garden are expected to be available.
In addition, Tecno abandoned their usually rear and side-mounted fingerprint sensor. PHANTOM X removes and hides the fingerprint sensor under the screen to give you a more advanced and better user experience with the in-display fingerprint sensor at the forefront of technology.
Everything I mentioned above are the confirmed features of the new Tecno Phantom X but by next month July, Tecno will be available along with other specifications. However, I am not okay with the 4,700 mAh battery sticking to 5000 or even more would have been better but then they have their reasons.
What do you think about the Tecno Phantom X price?
From what I can see the design of this phone is top-notch, and the features are not bad either but do you think that it is worth N228,000?

Itel P37 Pro Price In Nigeria (Specs + Full Review)*
10 Cheap Android phones under N20,000 NairaFor me, I believe that such a huge amount comes mainly from the AMOLED FHD+ curved edge screen display because such type of screen is not cheap. Have you wondered why Samsung phones screen is always expensive? It's because they own an AMOLED screen type and all their flagships always come with an AMOLED screen display which is expensive but offers the best visual experience.
As for the specifications, I think it's okay but the price is still much. even the
Tecno Camon 17 Pro offers the same 8GB RAM + 256GB ROM and still below N130,000 but as I said the design and screen is what contributes to the price (N228,000)
So tell me what you think about this phone and the price. Can you pay N228,000 for this phone?
